Body found in Prosperity Lake area identified as male

Jacksonville police are still trying to identify a man who was found dead Sunday in a lake in the 9300 block of Prosperity Lake Drive.
The approximately 6-foot-1, 200-pound black male was found in a lake near a residential neighborhood off Argyle Forest Boulevard and just east of Old Middleburg Road. He was wearing Nike sneakers, long 873-brand black jean shorts and three T-shirts - a red shirt over a white shirt and a black shirt. The victim also had a Rocawear belt buckle with large letters “R.O.C.”
Police were called to the neighborhood just before 4 p.m. A cause of death has yet to be determined.
