BUTLER Fred O. Butler, 94, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008. He was a native of Ft. Payne, AL and had lived in Jacksonville since 1942. Family was the most important thing in Mr. Butler's life and he will be lovingly remembered as a "rascal-. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had lived in Dinsmore for 53 years. Survivors include: his wife of nearly 59 years, Florence; his daughter, Linda McCombs and her husband Rick; his son, Steven and his wife Cyndi; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Bridget, and Joshua. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Monday, July 21 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Dr. R. P. McCall will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
