HEDGE- PETH Margaret Fender - Hedgepeth, 82, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008. Margaret was born November 17, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Horace Hill Hedgepeth. She graduated from the University of Florida. She was a Real Estate Agent, Real Estate Investor, Interior Designer, and avid sports enthusiast. Memberships include Lady's auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1689, American Legion Auxiliary #283, Sheriffs Boy's Ranch, Feed the Children, , Hidden Hills Country Club, Republican National Committee and sponsored many little league baseball teams. Survivors include: one daughter Miss Char Hedgepeth, sister in law Elizabeth Daly, New Bern, NC; nephews Bill (Maxine) Higginson, Waycross, Georgia; Denny Fender, Pensacola, Florida; Danny (Edith) Fender, Lakeland Florida; Al (Cathy) Hedgepeth, Raleigh, North Carolina; numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Please call the funeral home for family visitation information. A service celebrating Margaret's life will be held at 11:00am Monday July 21, 2008 at Southside Assembly of God with Pastor Milton Dykes officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
